Hon. Kola Alabi has officially assumed duty as the newly appointed Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission, NPC, for Ekiti State.
Alabi resumed at the NPC State Office on Monday, July 13, 2026, where he was received by the State Director, Mr. Olayomi Gbenga Abayomi, and members of the management team.
In a welcome address, Abayomi briefed the Federal Commissioner on the Commission’s operations in Ekiti State, including its activities, workforce strength, and ongoing programmes. He assured Alabi of the management team’s full cooperation and support.
Responding, Alabi expressed appreciation for the reception. He said staff welfare would be a priority during his tenure and requested a detailed briefing on staff challenges, with a commitment to address them.
The Federal Commissioner later toured the State Office, inspecting various departments and assessing available facilities.
