The Body of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) in the government of Ekiti State have felicitated with Governor Kayode Fayemi on his 55th birthday.
The group described Fayemi as a blessing from God to Ekiti State in particular and Nigeria and humanity in general.
The SSAs and SAs hailed Fayemi for dedicating his private and public life to lifting the less privileged, defending the defenceless and being the voice of the voiceless.
The group in a press statement noted that Fayemi had added value to governance in Ekiti with policies that have bettered the lives of the people.
The aides said Fayemi’s 55th birthday offered him another opportunity to rededicate himself to the development of Ekiti State and contributing to nation building.
The SSAs and SAs urged Fayemi not to relent in his developmental strides saying Ekiti is already on the path to multi-sectoral development and is a work in progress under his leadership.
They noted that Ekiti has recorded unprecedented strides under the watch of Fayemi who, according to them, has relaunched the Land of Honour on the path of good governance.
Ekiti under Fayemi, they said further, is now being governed under the best global practices in governance which has made it a reference point in the comity of states in Nigeria.
The statement read in part: “We celebrate our boss, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on this auspicious occasion of his 55th birthday and we are happy to identify ourselves with him.
“We are grateful to him for giving us opportunities to join hands with him to add value to governance and translate the five pillars of his administration into reality.
“We have learnt virtues of hard work, industry, commitment, dedication and selflessness to the cause of our dear state from our boss and we shall never depart from this path.
“He is an exemplary leader worthy of being followed and who gives his subordinates every support to succeed in the assignments he commits to their hands.
“We want to wish Mr. Governor a happy birthday and many happy returns of the day in good health, sound mind and more fruitful years in service of Ekiti State in particular and Nigeria in general.
