The audacity of the EIU of the Economist magazine.
It’s predicted an outright win for Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election.
Peradventure Atiku does not win, the magazine says PDP will believe it’s rigged out and that there will be violence afterwards.
I don’t know how the magazine arrived at that. But one thing I am cocksure of is that if Atiku loses, there won’t be any violence in the core north aftermath of his loss.
In the north central, I doubt if there will be any violence there. What gains will accrue to the already decimated people protesting the loss of Atiku?
There won’t be any violence in the southwest, too. This is a given.
There might be violence in the southeast. But to what end? Even at that, the chances are slim that violence will erupt in the region if Atiku loses.
There won’t be any violence in the southsouth should Atiku lose. Their son, President Jonathan, lost in 2015. Nothing happened.
