The Senate of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, Nigeria, has appointed Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole as the university’s third Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC).
The new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Profesor Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole was the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State.
He was unanimously elected during the Senate special session held on Friday, October 25, 2024 by members shortly after the Dean of Pharmacy and second nominee, Prof. Oyedokun stepped down.Also, no fewer than 35 staff of the university were promoted to Professorial cadre.
This was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina while addressing the Senate on the latest developments in the university.However, the new professors also paraded the first ever Professor of Library Sciences, Busayo Isaac in the anal of the university.Professor Isaac is the University Librarian.
