The Ekiti State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that a one day shooting range exercise is scheduled to take place as follows:
DATE: Saturday 14th December, 2024
TIME: 06:00hrs – 1200hrs
VENUE: Quarry Site, Opposite Police Headquarters, Old Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti.
While enjoining everyone not to panic as a result of the gunshot sounds during the exercise, members of the public, residents, farmers and passersby of the said environment are warned to stay clear and avoid any activity within the vicinity until the exercise is over. This is to avoid being hit by stray bullets or being traumatized.
The Commissioner of Police, CP AKINWALE KUNLE ADENIRAN, mni, while assuring the good people and residents alike of Ekiti State of maximum security for their lives and properties, implores everyone to cooperate with the Police and be law abiding.
