The minister for State, Petroleum, Mr. Heineken Lokpobiri appears to have joined in the war to kick out the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, GCEO, NNPC, Mr. Bayo Ojulari.
In what appears to have confirmed an internal wrangling, the younger brother of the Petroleum Minister, Jonathan Lokpobiri led protesters seeking the removal of Ojulari at the NNPC headquarters few days ago.

Jonathan led protesters under the aegis of Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum, NDENYLF at the premises of the NNPC few days ago demanding the removal of Ojulari, accusing him of corruption.
Ojulari has become embattled after pressure mounted for his removal. In fact, reports suggested he had resigned his appointed under duress but resurfaced in his office 48hrs after without any official statement debunking the reports of his resignation.
