When the eyes is single, the whole body would be full of light. When a competent person stays focused on the assignments before him; his achievements are numerous, and his score card represents total excellence.
On the other hand, when a person who seems to be incompetent, gets distracted by just merriments and irrelevant attentions; he puts all the blame of his many failures on his successful opponent.
In the wisdom of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he was able to choose an extremely competent team in order to bring Nigeria out of the miry clay. With his visionary leadership, Nigeria is becoming the pride of the world.
Upon inauguration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he chose to create the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, knowing it’s importance to the nation.
The Blue economy, both globally and in Nigeria, seeks to facilitate economic growth and the improvement of livelihoods while at the same time ensuring environmental sustainability of the oceans and coastal areas.
Adegboyega Oyetola, being the best man for the job, was chosen to be Nigeria’s Minister of Marine and Blue Economy. And within a short period of his leadership, he was ranked “Best Ministry in the Ease of Doing Business” by PEBEC, because he significantly transformed the sector since August 2023 by increasing the agency’s revenue by over 90% (from ₦700.79 billion in 2023 to ₦1.39 trillion in 2024), eliminating piracy for over a year, and resolving the Apapa port gridlock.
The minister has been focused on digitalizing port operations, implementing the Port Community System, and enhancing maritime trade through better infrastructure.
Recently, Adegboyega Oyetola on behalf of the Nigeria Blue Economy, received accolades recognizing Nigeria’s progress in the blue economy sector, with significant recognition in the UK in late 2025.
Obviously, His Excellency, Adegboyega Oyetola, being the Leader of the Osun APC, has in no way allowed his esteemed leadership position distract him from the massive achievements he had gotten as Minister.
In the wisdom, experience and wide exposure of Adegboyega Oyetola, he created an amazingly formidable party structure in Osun State, where his leadership team in the state handles the party activities effectively, and he made sure that abiding to due process within the constitution are the tools required to remain a vibrant opposition in the state.
No wonder the ruling party in Osun state, seem to think that every political tactic and victory of the Osun APC, has a hand of the federal government in it. But clearly there is no advantage that the federal government has given to Osun APC. The party leadership only stays guided by the constitution and the rule of law. This embodies the principles laid down by the leader of the Osun APC, His Excellency, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Certainly, Adegboyega Oyetola’s eyes is single, that is why he is shining in successes as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, and also as the Leader of the Osun APC.
