Compliment of the season to my esteemed ANA Compatriots.
Barely a month to our National Delegate Conference, a lot has been heard from our various contenders for the position of the President of our great association but little or nothing is heard from the contenders for other positions, particularly, the would-be custodian of our secretariat. This to me can be viewed as taking you, our valued leaders, for granted. For this reason, I, Akogun Tai Ogunntayo, the Chairman of ANA Ekiti chapter, have decided to intimate you about my ambition to contest for the position of the General Secretary of our great association and to seek your support before, during and after the election.
My experience in ANA has cut across a period of 25 years during which I had the privilege of serving as the PRO under two succeeding Chairmen of ANA Oyo (who later served as Presidents) in persons of Dr Wale Okediran and Prof Remi Raji. As an Author, my first book, CIVILIAN REVOLT was first published in 1993 and altogether, I now have seven books to my credit, two of which are on the list of recommended texts of the Ministry of Education in Ekiti State.
If voted in as your General Secretary, I promise to keep the sanctity of your secretariat and work strictly in accordance with the constitutionally prescribed duties of the secretary. I will make you proud and turn your secretariat to a cynosure of all eyes. So, help me God.
Akogun Tai Ogunntayo, Esq.
General Secretary Candidate
