
The All Progressive Congress Chairman Spain Chapter Amb. Stephen Adeayo Tella, has described former Edo State Governor and Former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC who won the Presidential Election in 2015, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun as a good leader with great accomplishment in his profession and an administrator.
Tella also noted Oyegun’s “contributions to the development of the country and service to humanity over the years”, in a letter to the Former All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, to mark his 80th birthday.
According to a statement made available in Madrid Spain, the Spain Chairman said: “Your attainment of the octogenarian rank attests to the fact that you have enjoyed tremendous divine grace and blessings from the Almighty God.
“You have distinguished yourself in all your endeavours as a political leader, governor, administrator, and as an elder statesman.
“Your impact as a former Edo State Governor and National Chairman of the Most popular party in Africa All Progressive Congress is etched on the minds of citizens and residents of the state and Nigeria. No wonder you were bestowed with important chieftaincy titles in acknowledgement of your performance by the key traditional rulers in Edo State and Nigeria.
“As you look forward to your next birthday, I, on behalf of my family, the APC Members in Spain and people of the Edo State and Nigeria at large, share in your celebration and pray that the Almighty God will continue to protect you and grant you good health and longer life.”
