NADF has begun the distribution of emergency agricultural inputs to vulnerable onion farmers in four states. The intervention targets farmers whose livelihoods were badly hit by flood and climate-related shocks. Many farmers lost their crops and were unable to return to the fields. More than 2,000 onion farmers from Sokoto, Yobe, Borno and Kebbi States are benefiting from the programme.
