The Lagos State Ministry of Education has partnered the Smithsonian Museum Science Institute, USA on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education aimed at improving education in public schools across the State. With the Edo Modular Refinery nearing completion, it has applied to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation for the supply of crude for use in the phase one development of the facility. The ERPC, in a statement by its Chairman, Michael Osime, said the refinery had reached an advanced stage of development where the operators have to introduce hydrocarbons to the facility.
