An Abuja Area Court on Wednesday admitted a lawmaker, Ahmed Ndakene, charged with alleged certificate forgery, to bail in the sum of N5 million. Ndakene, who represents Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency of Kwara State, appeared before the Court over alleged criminal breach of Section 88(1), 89(3) and 109c of the Administrative Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 brought against him by Mahmud Babako. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has so far realised N135 million from the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms to six Edo governorship aspirants participating in the party’s primaries slated for June 22. The party placed N22.5 million fee on governorship aspirants form in Edo and Ondo States. Kano State Fertiliser Company (KASCO) has been shut down by the Federal Government for allegedly adulterating fertilisers and manually mixing the components of the NKP 20:10:10 blend of the agricultural input. The order to close the company came through the Presidential Fertiliser Initiative and the National Sovereign Investment Agency (NSIA), through its subsidiary, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC)-NPK Limited.
