Shema is under probe in connection with the cash meant for the implementation of the Subsidy Re-Investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) in the state. The Niger State Police Command on Tuesday said it had invited the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Mohammed Jibril Imam, over alleged financial misappropriation. According to the Commissioner, Adamu Usman, the APC official was specifically accused of misusing party finances “since he assumed office in 2015”.
