The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced a temporary suspension of the ongoing recruitment of teachers into public primary schools in the state. This followed the huge crowd of job seekers that thronged the headquarters of the board in Ado-Ekiti on Monday. Ten Nigerians have been arrested from a house in west Delhi’s Mohan Garden from where they had allegedly been befriending Indians on social media and cheating them, Indian police said. An Oyo State High Court, on Monday, discharged and acquitted the Chief of State of Staff to the state governor, Chief Bisi Ilaka, of a murder charge preferred against him in a case instituted by the state government in 2018. A notorious phone dealer, Da-Silva, who specialized in buying mobile phones from armed robbers, cultists and pickpockets operating in Ogun and Lagos State has disclosed that he buys over 30 phones a week and made between N25,000 and N30,000 daily from buying and selling robbed phones.
