Some occupants and property owners in Guzape District of the Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday, sought the Federal Government’s intervention over what they described as “life-threatening blast of rocks in the area.” A resident of the district and former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Simon Achuba, made the call while addressing newsmen in Abuja. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, will today (Friday) arraign controversial cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, before the Federal High Court in Lagos for alleged money laundering. EFCC, on Thursday, filed six counts while counts bordering on money laundering and abuse of the naira on Bobrisky. Bobrisky will be arraigned before the vacation judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro. The Kano State Government has dragged the immediate past Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his wife Hafsat Umar, and five others to court over alleged corruption charges, misappropriation, and diversion of funds during his eight-year tenure in office. An 80-year-old man, identified as Adebola Ezekiel, and his wife, Abiodun Ezekiel, have been found dead in their apartment at Apo area in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, after they were hacked by unknown assailants. The African Development Bank (AFDB) has barred Chinese road builder China Henan International Corporation Group (CHICO) for indulging in fraudulent activity in a project the development bank is funding in Uganda.  According to Business Daily Africa, the ban on the Chinese road constructor will last for 12 months effective March 28 and will stop them from participating in any new AFDB-funded project in the continent.   The Ban affected an ongoing road construction project being handled by CHICO in Kenya.  An AfDB investigation revealed that the Chinese road builder engaged in fraudulent activity in the procurement of their most recent project in…
