The Ekiti State Police Commissioner,  Ogundare Dare, says the armed robbers who operated at two banks in the state during the daytime on Wednesday, would be arrested. The armed robbers had stormed the banks at Ikere-Ekiti at about 4:30pm. They were said to have blown the doors open with dynamites and made away with cash.  Three people were also suspected to have been killed in the attacks. The Department of State Services, DSS, on Wednesday, arraigned six suspected Internal Revenue Service fraudsters in Ekiti State before a magistrate court sitting in Ado-Ekiti. This came after the Federal Republic of Nigeria filed a suit against the accused, Olarewaju Adesoye, Mayowa Nelson Ajisafe, Matthew Ilesanmi Olarenwaju, Olorunfemi Osho, Joseph Sunday Balogun, and Ajayi Temidayo, for an alleged false representation of the Internal Revenue Service, IRS, in the state.
