A man told police he was raped by a stranger in Russell Square after getting lost from his friends on a night out. A man has been arrested after a “quantity of chemicals” was found at a suspected bomb factory in Catford. The Metropolitan Police were called at around 1.20pm to concerns about potentially explosive chemicals being stored at an address in Daneby Road on Friday.Officers put a cordon in place while searches were carried out and chemicals were found and recovered.
