Operatives of the Police Special Fraud Unit, PSFU, Ikoyi, Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria, have arrested a Lagos-based businessman, Alhaji Ismaeel Iyanda Salami and charged him before a Federal High Court in Lagos for allegedly conniving with others still at large to obtain the sum of N172,000,000 from another businessman, Tunji Teluwo under false pretence. The Ekiti State Police Commissioner,  Ogundare Dare, says the armed robbers who operated at two banks in the state during the daytime on Wednesday, would be arrested. The armed robbers had stormed the banks at Ikere-Ekiti at about 4:30pm. The Department of State Services, DSS, on Wednesday, arraigned six suspected Internal Revenue Service fraudsters in Ekiti State before a magistrate court sitting in Ado-Ekiti.
