The United Kingdom government has warned its citizens against travelling to riverine areas of Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River over recent attacks and targeted killings. In addition to a travel advisory published on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website, British nationals were warned against all but essential travel to Abia, Anambra and Imo. The Rivers State House of Assembly is being demolished. The demolition, which was ongoing as at press time, was disclosed in a video with two female voices. The Eagle Online recalls that there has been a face-off in the Assembly following the altercation between Governor Sim Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who is now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Gunmen operating along the East/West Road have attacked a convoy of workers of Daewoo company on their way to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, The Sun is reporting. According to The Sun, the gunmen killed four soldiers and two drivers on escort duties for the company. Two top officials of the company, who are Korean nationals, were abducted. A self-acclaimed pastor,  David Eludi, has been docked in Lagos for allegedly conspiring with others to collect the sum of N352,000 from one Florence Samuel, with a promise to use the funds to liberate her from family curses.
