The Head of Service and body of Ekiti State Accounting officers comprising of Permanent Secretaries, Auditor Generals, Statiscian General, Accountant General, General Managers and Executive Secretaries have donated to the Ekiti State food bank drive.
The Head of Service( HOS), Mrs Peju Babafemi making the cash donation on behalf of the body in Ado Ekiti said that the donation was to support those in need during this COVID -19 crises.
Babafemi described this time as a period when everybody should rise up in equipping the food bank of the state, be our brothers keeper and help the vulnerable go through this challenging period with ease.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Abiodun Omoleye who received the cash donation on behalf of the state government thanked the HOS and body for the gesture and praised the Head of Service leadership style in extending hands of love and identifying with the needs of the vulnerable at this crucial period.
Omoleye called on well meaning Ekiti people at home and abroad to join hands with the State Government in fighting the Corona virus pandemic together.
