Two young boys along with a woman have met their Waterloo in the hands of angry mob in Otuo community, in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State.
The mob action is over the gruesome murder of a young girl in Ikhuera quarters by three boys for rituals.
Reports say, the young girl was brutally murdered while her head was severed from her body.
The act was carried out at night by her neighbor who in disguised, sent her an errand to get him sachet water and while in his room to deliver the sachet water, she was murdered and her head severed.
When the young girl parents could not find their daughter, raised alarm. The murderer in an attempt to dump her corps today was apprehended and confessed two others and an Igbira woman (who performed the rituals) for them.
The two boys were burnt this morning along with the woman while her house was razed. They were all dragged to the popular ‘Women Centre’ where the community police station is located.
The third boy has been traced to his farm. Reports just coming in say he has been apprehended, and may possibly face the same fate with others.
