
The management of a private estate in Abuja, Taslee Palm city estate where the confirmed case of the Corona Virus discovered in Abuja recently resides, has revealed one of its residents had contacted the virus while on a private trip to one of the affected countries by the deadly Corona virus.
The Management of Taslee Palm City estate Maitama, in the nation’s capital Abuja, had on Saturday informed in a letter addressed to all its residents about the discovery of a resident who tested positive to the Corona Virus in the estate. The infected resident is said to have been safely evacuated from the estate by medical personnel from the National Center for Disease Control to Gwagalada Specialist hospital in Abuja.
The management, further took stringent precautionary measures in curtailing the further spread of the pandemic. As a result of the unfolding situation the estate has announced the following restrictions;
Restrictions of access to the estate for all none resident domestic staff (Drivers, Cleaners, Cooks,Nannies etc).
Residents are to prevent their children from playing outside their homes.
All residents are to minimize the number of visitors invited into the estate as proper screening will be carried out going forward.

The presence of the Corona Virus infection in the country has prompted various non-governmental bodies across all boards to give out directives of precautionary measures to be observed for the containment of the virus, and ensuring public safety.
