If I were the governor today, I’d urgently meet with the President and Mr Fashola on the need to change the banana shape of OTEDOLA BRIDGE, and expand the service roads on both sides. Ms. Julius Berger is currently working on that stretch, as a federal road.
We need a flat flyover that will connect Secretariat gate crest with Berger bus stop crest without the hollow steeps on both sides. A flat bridge that will elevate the headroom under the bridge inwards Omole phase 2.
Dualise CMD road and Otedola Bridge underpass to meet the carriage size built in/out of MKO GARDENS.
Explore the possibility of building a super service road that will link Fela shrine-Jobifele road intersection with Ojodu Berger…I expect that to fly over the swamp just like Opebi link bridge.
Washing off this new blood stains and reopening the banana peel for traffic will happen soon… just like the very next carnage might happen soon.
