Philanthropist, well-spirited individuals and charity organisations in
the society have been called upon to be magnanimous enough to
contribute to the fight against Corona Virus in Ekiti State and
Nigeria at large.
The Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti state, Dr.
Mojisola- Yaya Kolade , made the appeal while receiving equipment
donated by members of E-eleven to the state government as part of its
contribution to combating the pandemic at the Ekiti State Infection
Disease Control Centre, Oba Adejuyigbe General Hospital premises,
Ado-Ekiti.
Dr. Yaya-Kolade appreciated the Club for showing solidarity and
support for the government at this trying time.
The Chairman of the organisation, Chief Kola Akosile disclosed that
the Social club was established basically to assist and compliment the
efforts of the state government at developing the state.
Chief Akosile said that the items donated were Lamps and Hand
sanitizers noting that the government shouldn’t be left to do it
alone.
“This is given out as our widow’s mite to the fight against Covid-19
pandemic”. He noted.
