EKET YOUTHS DISOWN AMORPHOUS GROUP. By Emmanuel Paragon Mbong
A conglomeration of various youth groups in Eket comprising the Forum of Village Youth Presidents, Eket Youth Council, AKS Youth Caucus, Eket Chapter, Dakaada Youths Ambassador among others, dissociated themselves from a publication making the rounds in their various communities, and has generated a lot of heat, tension, controversy, ruffled political feathers and has also caused serious disaffection among prominent Ekid political bulldozers.
The publication said to emanate from the stable of an amorphous body that goes by the name, Coalition of Eket Youths for Development and Advocacy should have been ignored and allow the arrow heads of this cheap blackmail to wallow in their ignorance and bury their heads in perpetual shame ,but it is pertinent to tear their evil intentions into shreds since continuous silence by the teeming youths would have meant acquiescal. .
It is in the light of this, that these various youth groups stormed the residence of the Political Leader of Eket Senatorial District , Chief Nduese Essien to be fully brief in this whole episode and also hear his own side of the story. for informed judgement.

Comrade Essien urged the former Minister not to be deterred by the nefarious activities of these bad eggs in our midst but to forge ahead in his struggle for a better and just society for them and generations yet unborn

Responding after all said and done , the highly respected Attah of Ekid nation, who was virtually overwhelmed by this show of love, compassion and solidarity, commended the leaders of today and tomorrow for this unscheduled and unexpected visit, but took time out, to offer some words and pieces of advice for them.
Chief Nduese Essien challenged any body that is in possession of the copy of the petition said to have been written by his humble self against the Ikot Edor born politician to make it public, or shut up for ever.
He was also full of praises for credible media channels that did not go to bed the story ladened with bare faced lies and campaign of calumny orchestrated against him by blood sucking liars
He decried the alarming rate of how youths, women and even elders are being used nowadays as cannon fodders to destroy their very own and best for the sake of pittance and peanuts

Chief Nduese Essien also used the occasion to debunk the rumour making the rounds, for sometimes now that, he pocketed some millions of naira from the contractors handling the Eket portion of the East West Road, so as not to be done according to specifications.What a mindset!
The Chief maintained that he is fully in tune and tandem with the completion agenda of the present state administration, and vowed that, nothing on earth will make him derail or lose focus ,and even be a partaker of destroying the same house he lsboured vigorously to build, no matter the level of provocation from people that do not like his face.
He pledged his continuous unflinching support and unalloyed loyalty to the government of Gov Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and asked his detractors to look elsewhere for their cohorts.
The amalgam of the youth groups, finally passed a vote of confidence on the pragmatic and effective leadership of the political icon and urged him to continue soaring like an eagle, to a greater height for the benefits of humanity as a whole.
Comrades Tommy Enodien of the Youth Caucus and Godwin Edoho of Eket Youth Council were unavoidably absent at the breakfast meeting due to other pressing official engagements.
