Some students of the Faculty of Law, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti will participate in the African Regional Rounds of the 17th edition of the John H. Jackson international moot competition on WTO law slated to hold at Nairobi, Kenya from 23rd-27th of April, 2019.
In the magnanimity & wisdom of Dr John Kayode Fayemi, #Governor @Ekitistategov, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira, (NGN500,000:00) needed by the students to enable them participate in the competition has been approved.
The John H. Jackson competition is organized by the European Law Students’ Association to provide law students the world over with an opportunity to learn about the international trading system through critical dialogue in the form of “Panel Stimulation”.
Participants from different countries and then, continents in the world, are allowed to participate in this competition subject to the fulfillment of certain stringent academic requirements.
Fortunately, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti is part of the foremost schools in Africa that have been given this rare opportunity of participation upon the fulfillment of the academia criteria. Ekiti State University has been tagged “Team 036” among other teams in the world.
