
The first lady of Ekiti State Erelu Bisi Fayemi has given strong assurance to Ekiti people willing to becoming entrepreneurs that all hands will be on deck on the part of government to provide adequate support for them.

The wife of the governor made the disclosure on Saturday during 3rd day of Ekiti entrepreneurship Week to mark the beginning of their first year in office. The event held at Tradefair Shopping Complex, Adetiloye hall in Ado Ekiti, state Capital.
Fayemi’s wife expressed her satisfaction during the fashion parade and talent showcasing by the designers who presented items such as, Aso Oke, Campala popularly known as Adire, Ankara sowed in different styles and other beauty make up and Artists.
She noted that the initiative would boost the state’s economic development if well explored strategically and help our young fashion artist to develop themselves.
Her words: ” we are doing this enterpreneurship week, to be able to showcase Ekiti textile Ekiti locally made fabrics and tailoring.

Erelu said ” We have seen that Ekiti people are amazing, we have all this materials produced here in Ekiti,
We want to thank Dr John Kayode Fayemi for investing in ekiti and supporting the women folk, we can showcase the world what we can do, Ekiti people are not lazy, they are hard working and industrious she added “
Erelu Fayemi further disclosed that a number of the participants at the programme would be invited to both Fashion Week in Lagos, Nigeria and Abroad.

She expressed optimism that the programme would be a permanent feature in the State since “Ekiti people cherish hardwork, dedication and commitment to excellence” I am proud of them and give kudos to Dr Kayode Fayemi for believing and showcasing the talented sons and daughters of Ekiti
In a response by the Secretary, committee for the enterpreneuship week 2019, Hon. Seyi Ayeleso , had urged the participants to make good use of the opportunity given to them from the programme; and also know that the programme is aimed at raising and showcasing the talented people in the State.
