
Ado Ekiti indigenes in the United Kingdom and Ireland were very pleased at the appearance of the Director General, Ekiti Diaspora Relations, Dr. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa as she joined the Monthly meeting of Ado-Ekiti Progessive Union, UK and Ireland Chapter in May 2024.
it also doubled as the retirement celebration for member:
Mrs Bola Afolabi-Adeniyi, (the current Welfare Secretary for the APU UK and Ireland), after 40yrs of meritorious active service in the UK.
Dr Adeleye-Fasubaa conveyed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s best wishes to the President-Prince Adeniran Adewunmi, the members and especially the Celebrant of the day. She emphasised the Governor’s six point agenda during the interactive session (where members aired their views) while reiterating the giant strides being made by the Oyebanji led government of the state in the areas of Tourism, Agriculture, Investments and Security.
