
Ekiti State Government is partnering the Republic of Belarus
In a bid to ensuring the socio-economic development of the state, Ekiti State Government is partnering the Republic of Belarus on increased sustainable agricultural practices, adequate health sciences, food security, job creation, industrialisation, poverty reduction, youth development and empowerment.
Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji made this known in Ado-Ekiti at the opening ceremony of a Power Point presentation on Direct Investment Opportunities for Job Creation , poverty Reduction, Industrialisation and Economic Development of Ekiti State by the Enterprise Brazil Nigeria Company (EBNC) Limited engaged by the Republic of Belarus.
The State’s scribe who was represented by the Head of Service, Mr Deji Ajayi said the available resources, engineering and technology that the Republic of Belarus is known for will be effectively utilized through the partnership to bring about the desired transformation of the state.
He stated that in order to realize the 4 cardinal programmes of the Kayode Fayemi led administration, investment opportunities from advanced societies will be vigorously pursued.
Oyebanji expressed delight at the willingness of the Republic of Belarus to replicate in Ekiti state its tremendous achievements in the area of manufacturing of mining equipment, agricultural equipment and technologies, road construction equipment and trucks as well as production of fertilizers for Agriculture.
In his presentation, the Managing Director, Enterprise Brazil Nigeria Company (EBNC) Limited, Mr Charles Azor explained the opportunities available to the state as a result of the partnership.
At the programme were top government functionaries representing most Ministries, Departments and Agencies across the state.
