EKITI STATE POLICE COMMAND PREPARATION FOR THE UPCOMING EID-EL-FITIR
In view of the upcoming EID-EL-FITIR celebration between 4th and 5th of June, 2019.
The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Police Command CP. AMBA ASUQUO psc., felicitates with muslims faithful in the State and he has therefore ordered the deployment of Police personnel throughout the State to ensure hitch free celebration.
2.To this end, the Commissioner of Police has directed Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to beef up security and ensure deployment of Police personnel to all EID-EL-FITIR praying grounds and other venues of celebration throughout the State to prevent commission of crimes and ensure hitch free celebration.
3.The Safer Highway and Anti-crime patrol teams have been deployed along major roads and highway throughout the State to ensure safety of travelers, commuters and other road users. They are on strict instruction to be civil, polite and firm in carrying out their duties.
- The Police Force is hereby imploring members of the public to cooperate with Police personnel deployed in their localities. The Commissioner of Police once again wishes the muslims faithful and all Ekiti State citizen’s happy EID-EL-FITIR celebration. He enjoins them to be security conscious, vigilant and report any untoward incident or happening observed in their locality to the nearest Police Station or call the control room number 08062335577.
