London’s ‘best kept African secret’ was unveiled when the Director General for Ekiti Diaspora Dr. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa visited the revamped Africa Centre at Great Suffolk Street London, UK for their Cocoa and Chocolate event.
The Centre had moved from its previous location in Covent Gardens to this new one near London Bridge and Borough Stations. The building boasts of three floors filled with African artifacts.
Very soon, Ekiti’s Adire and Aso Oke will join the array of African treasures there displayed.
Varieties of chocolates from all over the world were on display, likewise foods- the Nigerian Jollof rice stole the show!
It was a delightful event. The Gan-gan drummers made it more so.
It was a joy to
discover that the CEO, Olu Alake has roots in Ekiti.
