In a bid to further position the State Teaching Service for better
service delivery, Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved
the appointment of two new Tutor Generals.
The new Tutor Generals are Mr. Isinkaye Calos Kehinde for Ekiti North
Senatorial District and Dr. (Mrs.) Fatunase Lydia Titilope for Ekiti
South Senatorial District.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti by the State
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Foluso
Daramola , the appointments of the new Tutor Generals takes effect
from 3rd October, 2019.
According to the statement, until their appointments, Mr. Isinkaye
was the Principal of Anglican Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti while Dr.
(Mrs.) Fatunase was the Principal of Amoye Grammar School, Ikere.
Mr. Foluso Daramola who explained that forty-two (42) Principals took
part in the qualifying examination and screening exercise that
produced the new Tutor Generals expatiated that three School
Principals with highest scores in each of the Education Districts were
shortlisted for the interview.
While urging the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed in
them, the Commissioner called on teachers in Public Schools in the
state to reciprocate the gesture by being more committed to their
duties.
