This evening, at about 8 O’clock, the wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi called me that she read about one Mrs. Sade Ojo on social media who delivered a twin babies at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti since Saturday 31st August, 2019 but could not go home because her husband could not pay her bills amounting to N80, 075. The hospital management would not let Mrs Ojo go home unless she paid her bills.
Erelu directed me to go to the hospital immediately and find out the true situation of things, and that if found out to be true, she would be ready to settle the bills and that the woman and her only surviving baby must not sleep at the hospital tonight.
I got to the hospital and true to what Erelu read on social media, I met Mrs. Ojo, her own mother and husband thinking about the ugly development without any solution at hand. I promptly introduced myself and delivered Erelu’s message to them. Joy of praises immediately rented the whole ward. We approached the Nurses on duty and actions were expedited to discharge Mrs Ojo and her baby.
I am happy to tell all the concerned public that Mrs Ojo and her baby have been let go courtesy of Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
I personally drove the family down to their home at about 9:30pm, and they were full of praises to God Almighty, and prayers to Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
