Fayemi approves renovation of State Secretarial – Ag. HOS
Ekiti state government has given approval for the renovation of
facilities at the State Secretariat in fulfillment of Dr. Kayode
Fayemi-led administration’s promise to ensure a conducive working
environment for the worker force in the state.
The acting Head of Service (HOS), Mrs. Peju Babafemi disclosed this
while inspecting existing facilities at the state Secretariat.
According to her, the visit, which was a follow-up to similar visit
made by the state governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi in January would work
out modalities for the renovation of the facilities.
Mrs. Babafemi, who inspected buildings occupied by various Ministries,
Departments and Agencies expressed satisfaction with the level of
tolerance and attitude of workers, commended their comportment and
punctuality at work.
She commended the governor for his interest in providing a favourable
working environment for workers and prioritizing regular payment of
workers’ salaries.
Expressing satisfaction at the visit, the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Information, Tourism and Values Orientation, Dr. (Mrs.)
Adekunbi Obaisi, who described the visit that would ascertain the
state of facilities and working conditions of workers, hoped that
with the steps taken so far by the Governor, a better working
environment is guaranteed for workers.
