Fayemi strengthens mechanism for inter-communal dialogue processes.
Governor Fayemi has held a bilateral discussion with the representatives of the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue. They discussed steps taken to build trust & confidence in the State & facilitate reconciliation amongst communities through inter-communal dialogue processes.
In the entourage from Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue were Adviser for Humanitarian Dialogue; Gloria Thomas, Senior Programme Manager; Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, Adviser for Humanitarian Dialogue; Ibrahim Saleh Hassan.
The Governor had earlier this year, inaugurated Ekiti Boundary Commission Committee at the Governor’s office, Ado Ekiti to address intra and inter-local government boundary disputes and ensure peaceful co-existence in the state.
