
Nigeria’s former Chief of Defence Intelligence (CDI) Major General Mohammed Said has passed on.
The retired military general died at a hospital in Jos, Plateau State after a protracted illness. Details of his funeral are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
A member of T&T Golf group in IBB Golf Club Abuja, Said, who served as CDI from December 2005 to August 2007, lost his wife six years ago. He is survived by four children and a few grand children.
Mohammed Kabir Galadanci, Chairman/ CEO of Sera Business Ventures, described late Maj Gen Said as “a charming and charismatic Army General, a caring Commander and a Diplomat of high repute.”
