HEARTRENDING REVELATIONS ON MR CLIFFORD ISHIAKU AKA SENATOR ELISHA ABBO. By Joe Okei-Odumakin

We have received calls from well-meaning Nigerians regarding our position on the shocking and heartrending revelation on one of the newly sworn in distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who was ALLEGED to have assaulted a nursing mother at a sex toy shop in Abuja as evidenced in the widely circulated Circuit Camera Television, CCTV footage.
The latest revelation as reported on social media made by a sister of the late wife of Senator Elisha Abbo, Ms. Eunice Ojukwu to The Sun Newspaper was equally alarming. She asserted that the Senator was also known and addressed as Mr. Cliff Ishiaku and under this identity, he married his late wife, Mrs. Eucharia Ishiaku nee Ojukwu who was equally reported to have been battered and infected with HIV by the now known and addressed as Senator Elisha Abbo.
Having watched the video clip as well as the backlash of the assault of a sales lady at the adult toy shop at Abuja, including the much publicized apology by the Senator to Nigerians, the assaulted lady and her family, highlighting his stand and sacrifice for humanity, one wonders the intentions behind such positive contributions from such a character.
As a concerned body with the burning passion for the total eradication of injustice and oppression, we want to commend the Nigeria Police Force for their reported preliminary investigations and further call on the government of Nigeria and relevant agencies to investigate this ugly allegation on the person and character of Senator Elisha Abbo.
