
A man in his 40s has been killed in a horror crash on the A13 sparking road closures.
The multi-vehicle crash took place in the early hours of this morning and the police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police were called to the scene at just before 6am to the A13 Thames Gateway near the junction with Ferry Road, Rainham.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man was pronounced dead.

There are no reports of any other serious injuries and road closures remain in place around the scene.
