- The vainglorious, unpatriotic profligate that heads that house admitted in writing that he indeed took his mother’s birthday party to the United Arab Emirates and took along “a few family members”. He said he spent his own money, not Nigeria’s and that no Rep attempted. Of course the party was filled with Emiratis and his copious purchase of Forex applied no pressures on the naira. No wonder we have number:
- The house this man of vanity leads has adjourned for two weeks for coronavirus even though no single Nigerian on Nigerian soil has picked up that bug and in fact, only one Nigerian, in far away Italy has been sickened by the virus. Of Reps can shut down at the fist sight of distant threat, where is leadership? Who assesses the way and manner the executive works at protecting the nation from the virus? Why shouldn’t schools, the military, the police, government offices, etc shut down, following the lead of their representatives? These people are such callous idiots, honestly!
This is the unfortunate story of Nigeria where the wrong people have power and influence and the set all the wrong examples for the upcoming ones. If those Nigerians voted as alternative to the years of the locusts are doing this, then what future could await the country. If widely travelled and educated people are given to meaningless baubles and will sell their country for shinny objects this way, what will the complete buffoons do. If only Nigeria will be fortunate to have leaders who love the people; leaders who want the best for the nation!
