Kano State House of Representatives member, Aliyu Sani Madaki, is facing widespread criticism following the release of a viral video showing stacks of cash totaling millions of Naira in his living room.
The footage, which has rapidly circulated online, captures Madaki, who represents Dala federal constituency under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), sorting large bundles of N1,000 notes in the company of two unidentified individuals.
The video has sparked outrage among citizens and anti-corruption advocates, who questioned the source and purpose of such a large amount of cash being handled in a private residence.
Madaki has yet to address the allegations or clarify the circumstances surrounding the video, leaving many Nigerians demanding accountability and transparency from public officials.
