
Following the commencement of the collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards on 2 September by the Independent National Electoral Commission for Kogi State governorship election scheduled to hold on 16 November, INEC has released a detail breakdown on the PVCs collected thus far.
The collection which is scheduled to end on 30 September has so far recorded low response according to the breakdown released by INEC on Friday.
INEC also urged those yet to collect theirs to do so.
Its message read: “Further to the 2nd Sept commencement of the collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) by eligible voters for the Kogi governorship election scheduled for 16th Nov 2019, we hereby share the progress report for the first two weeks of the exercise.
“Collection of PVCs will continue till 30th Sept.
“We appeal to all eligible voters in Kogi State who have not collected their PVCs to do so before the deadline.”
