
NADF’s Policy Adviser, Mohammed Aliyu Bamali, represented the Executive Secretary, Mohammed Abu Ibrahim, at the Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR)’s 2025 Annual Research Review Planning Meeting and REFILS Workshop. The event aims to advance agricultural innovation for food security and economic prosperity.
While addressing the participants, Mr. Bamali said the Fund is committed to supporting research that drives sustainable agricultural practices, addresses food security challenges, and promotes economic growth in Nigeria.
Recall that NADF recently conducted a comprehensive Baseline/Needs Assessment Study of 16 Agricultural Research Institutes and 17 Federal Colleges of Agriculture, identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities to inform strategic interventions in the sector.
