The multi-national Islamic organization, Nasrul-Lahi-Ll-Fatih Society, NASFAT, is set to hold her biennial conference for her members and stakeholders worldwide. This year biennial conference of the society is the 5th edition and will be held in the historic town of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The four days activities will start of Thursday, December 19 – Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the huge educational facility of Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
This year’s theme of the religious conference is “PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE: PANACEA FOR UNITY, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT” tagged ‘OGUN 2019’, this was disclosed by one of the Local Organizng Committees (LOCs) ,the Lagos Zone One Chapter headed by Engr. Mustapha Abiodun Alabi,.
The 2017 edition of the Biennial conference of NASFAT was held at University of Ghana, Legon – Accra, Ghana where over 1,000 members of the organization participated under the leadership of Engr. Kamil Yomi Bolarinwa, the immediate past President, with the theme “NASFAT: Aligning with Global Diversity”. Members of NASFAT from America, Canada, United Kingdom and many African countries attended the conference.
Among many things that were discussed at the conference in Ghana were the development of the society (NASFAT), Fountain University and NASFAT Islamic City. The Chief Imam of NASFAT, Sheikh (Engr.) Marufdeen Onike led the mission board to deliver lots of spiritual diets at the Cedi and Pesewas golden city country.
This year’s biennial conference will be the first in leadership of Alhaji Mumini Olaniyi Yusuf as the president of NASFAT. Alhaji Yusuf, a former Country Managing Director of Accenture and currently the Managing Partner of Verraki Partners, was inaugurated two months ago at NASFAT Islamic Center, Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Aseese, Ogun state.
NASFAT is, no doubt, the fastest growing Islamic organization in the whole West Africa, especially among the yoruba speaking Muslims. NASFAT is a pacesetting Islamic organization with a vision statement to develop an enlightened Muslim Society nurtured by true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind. NASFAT presently boasts of over 300 branches and groups spread across Nigeria and other major countries of the world.
