





Septuagenarian, Sir Julius Kayode Otitoju, a former commissioner for information Ekiti State government has stood his ground legally in land grab battle allegations against Mr. Jimmy Odukoya, a Director at Lagos waste management agency.

‘Lo and behold’, the Lagos State commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunboh Wahab shared an arrest story on his “X” handle (Formerly Twitter):
“This morning, 70-year-old Kayode Otitoju was caught red-handed vandalizing an ongoing fence project by the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources at Lekki Phase 1 canal setback.”
Though the video of the arrested person doesn’t show the face of the suspect to be that of the respected septuagenarian, an unidentifiable person was displayed in a video accompanying the statement by Tokunboh Wahab.
Telephone calls to Sir Julius Kayode Otitoju number remained unanswered up till publication of this news link.
An inquiry was also dropped on the platform used by Tokunboh Wahab for his official activities.
It will be unfair and unjust if institutionalized bullying tactics are deployed on retirees.
