It has come to our attention about the recent statement released by a concerned Nigerian called Obinna K. Okorie as regards PFN Chairman Rev Dr. Akande’s church being used for passport capturing and collaborating with the Consular General in this regard to cause division in Cape Town.
PFN hereby states as follows:
- Rev Dr Akande is not aware of the present passport capturing plan
- Rev Dr Akande Just came back from a missionary trip to Tanzania and has no clue of any update on matters relating to passport application nor NCWC matters
- Rev Dr. Akande and the Consular General have not met nor spoken this year 2019 directly or telephonically at all.
- The leadership of PFN states categorically her “Neutral stand” on the issue of NCWC matters until peaceful resolution is arrived at.
- PFN states that any member pastor that is involved with NCWC politics does so on his/her personal conviction and capacity, not on behalf of the organisation
- PFN demands a public apology from Mr Obinna K. Okorie to the Chairman Rev Dr Akande and the entire body of PFN for dragging the body into unverified public release
- We further states that people should desist from further attacks on PFN and our Chairman Rev Dr Akande.
Thanking you all for your understanding
May the God of peace be with you all
