The Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria, Ekiti State
Chapter has commended Governor Kayode Fayemi for the various ongoing
developmental projects and programmes across the length and breadth of
the state.
The Chairman of the Association, Mr. Olatunji Lukeman who led the
members of the Association to the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti also
congratulated the Governor on his one year in office.
Mr. Olatunji Lukeman who solicited for financial empowerment for the
body also implored the government to partonise their members with the
assurance that they have state of the art equipment to handle any
government printing job.
In a related development, members of Furniture and Carpentry Traders
Association of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter, led by its President, Mr.
Solomon Animasaun on courtesy visit to Governor’s office in Ado-Ekiti
has also lauded the efforts of the Governor in restoring dignity to
labour by making welfare of public servants a priority.
Mr. Animasaun said the governor has through this demonstrated his
determination give succor to people and appealed to the Governor to
extend such gesture to artisans too by patronising members of the
Association in the various construction works in the state.
The Senior Special Assistant on Mobilization to the Governor, Prince
Olatunji Ogunlola, who received the two Associations on behalf of
Governor Kayode Fayemi commended them for their support for the
Governor and APC towards the success of the last elections.
Prince Ogunlola enumerated some of the programmes put in place by the
present administration to give succor to the people in the last one
year to include, Youth Empowerment, Social Security Scheme, Micro
Credit and Agricultural loans among others adding those that have not
benefited from those will surely benefit from other programmes that
will soon be rolled out by the government.
He said that Governor Kayode Fayemi is out to make life more
meaningful for the citizenry by creating enabling environment for the
people of the state and advised the Associations to sustain their
support for the Fayemi-led administration to enable it do more and
move the state to the next level of development.
