The sacked Kano Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission boss, Muhyi Magaji Rimin-Gado, is to appear before a Magistrates Court to answer questions bordering on allegations of forgery levelled against him by the police.
Rimin-Gado is to be arraigned before Kano State Magistrates Court for alleged forgery and false information charges against him.
The embattled ex-anti-graft boss was granted administrative bail after honouring police invitation on the same charges.
Rimin-Gado, who was suspended following the recommendation of the state assembly, is contending with a petition written against the state’s accountant general.
Although, a court of competent jurisdiction had granted an exparte order resisting the police or any agent of the state from arresting, harassing or intimidating the ex-anti-graft boss, it was learnt that police had concluded fresh First Information Report (FIR) before a magistrates court.
Reliable source, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Newsmen that after several failed attempts to arrest and prosecute him, the Police on Monday detained one Muktar Magaji who stood as surety for him.
