(1) The first committee rejected by Obaseki was that of the House of Representatives, a committee set up to investigate the illegally constituted Edo Assembly.
(2) The second rejected committee by Mr Governor was the senate committee, which was constituted on fact findings in same Assembly inauguration, and the resolution was also rejected.
(3) The third rejected committee was the reconciliation committee set up by the national leadership of the party, and approved by the president, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari which was led by Kano state governor, His Excellency, Abdullahi Ganduje, to intervene and resolve the crisis rocking the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
(4) The fourth committee to be rejected by Mr Governor is Senate president, Ahmed Lawan led Reconciliation Committee and this has also been rejected by Mr Governor citing conflict of interests.
Now the question is after four rejected attempts at reconciling the crisis rocking APC Edo, what really does the governor want? Should the Party not do the needful since it is obvious that the governor has other plans?
He said he is praying for peace. Does prayers without matched action work? Praying for peace and rejecting all entreaties towards achieving peace in Edo?
Does he want continue fighting the party and at the same time shouting for second term ticket? Does Mr Governor expect the party that he is warring to give him her ticket? Or Mr Governor has other plans but wants to decimate the party before he leaves? These are pertinent questions begging for answers.
