Today, the Dr Kayode Fayemi Administration launches “S’e Ti Gbo?” (Have You Heard?), a Policy Communications and Enlightenment Initiative to ensure every resident of Ekiti State is not only aware of the various policies and programmes of government in every sector, but also understand how to participate or take advantage of such policies and programmes.

S’e Ti Gbo? Is a multi platform initiative. In our quest to reach every citizen, our team will engage via town halls, street to street, door to door, radio and TV as well as social media platforms. We will communicate through drama, music and in every relevant local language and dialect. Since effective communications is a two way street, we will also get raw feedback from the towns and farmsteads on their needs and impact of government in their communities.

The goal is to ensure every citizen understands how to benefit from government policies and programmes relevant to his or her life, family and work. After all, what is the benefit of government policies if the citizen are not aware nor understand how to benefit from it? Soon that gap will no longer exist in Ekiti State.
