American actress and media personality Amanda Seales has claimed that the recent assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump was “staged.”
Reports indicate that two people were killed after gunshots were fired at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, prompting security staff to swiftly escort the injured former president off stage, as confirmed by the Associated Press.
The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old, as the suspect involved in the attempted assassination.
However, despite confirmations from security agencies, Seales has voiced her skepticism regarding the authenticity of the incident. In a video shared on her social media platforms, Seales emphasized that the event seemed orchestrated, drawing a comparison to theatrical productions
She stated, “That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President. I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove.”
Seales questioned the circumstances surrounding the event, mentioning theatrical techniques such as blood pallets used in films and theater to simulate injuries. She expressed doubt about Trump’s reaction during the incident, suggesting it did not align with a genuine assassination attempt.
The former president’s campaign has yet to respond to Seales’ allegations.
